Data Engineer

This position is a hybrid role (3x per week onsite) that will be based at our headquarters in Fremont, California. The Data Engineer will report to the Sr. Data & Analytics Manager.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Implement data pipelines, data transformation and dashboards.
• Refactor and optimize existing data transformation.
• Create monitoring tools to improve the quality of the data we process.
• Work with other data scientists to automate data tasks to make production ready models.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

• Solid programming skills python, SQL
• Proficient knowledge of RDBMS /Columnar/ Time series database.
• Familiarity with Data Orchestration Tools
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to work independently.
• Being in your senior year of Data Science or Software Engineering bachelor’s degree.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences…

• Knowledge of modern Data orchestration tools . 
• Databricks dashboards, Power BI or similar tools experience.
• Knowledge of Spark (pyspark) is a plus.
• Experience with a Timeseries DB is a plus.
• Masters Degree in a related field

Pay Range (Applicable to California): $120,000-$135,000
