This position reports into Senior Manager Quality Excellence EMEA and is based in Switzerland.

Role reports to: Senior Manager Quality Excellence EMEA
Location: Switzerland
Travel %: up to 40%
What you will do
The Q&C Operational Excellence Manager will closely collaborate with different teams at local, regional, and global level and with stakeholders across functions and countries to identify areas for improvement, devise strategies, build capabilities, and implement initiatives. Through data analysis, mastery in lean, and fostering a culture of continuous improvements, the Manager will play a key role in improving business performance by enhancing efficiency, agility, and quality & compliance aspects of operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive key operational excellence programs and initiatives across Quality & Compliance
· Lead cross-functional teams to identify, develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, agility, and quality.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Use data driven insights and analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across different areas.
· Drive performance management and be accountable for metrics, scorecards, and processes.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop, evaluate, and implement action plans to maintain or improve product and processes.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean six sigma methodologies, Kaizen events, root cause problem solving, and data analytics, among other important frameworks.
· Elaborate and present complex data insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.
· Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve goals.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM. Master preferred.
· 8-10 years of experience in Quality, operations, or Supply Chain, preferably in a life science or multinational organization (FMCG). Field experience in Quality control or Quality assurance is a plus.
· Proven track record of driving operational excellence initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
· Must be able to work independently and with others.
· Ability to think creatively and strategically to support business results.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Certification is Lean / Six Sigma (e.g., Black belt).
· Fluent in English.
Desired Qualifications
· Ability to lead, teach, and guide project teams in using tools, initiating change, and applying sound process improvement methodology.
· Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
· Ability with data analytics tools and frameworks (SQL, Python, Power Bi, Power Apps, Databricks). Experience with machine learning, and AI implementations is a plus.
· Management consulting experience is a plus.
