Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) and Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a Senior CNSP Surface Force Training Requirements and Data Analyst. This position oversees the training and certification of ships within the Pacific Fleet and requires hands-on experience in training resource management, certification processes, and process improvement to ensure that Pacific Fleet ships are adequately prepared for deployment. Key responsibilities include developing training standards, analyzing metrics, providing executive support, and identifying improvements to meet evolving training requirements.
The Senior CNSP Surface Force Training Requirements and Data Analyst shall be a strategic, detail-oriented professional with extensive Navy training experience and the ability to influence process improvements that will enhance operational readiness across the Pacific Fleet.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Training Standards Development & Analysis:
- Develop and recommend improvements to CNSP/ATGPAC training standards.
- Track, monitor, and analyze Navy Surface Ship training metrics to ensure compliance with certification and readiness standards.
- Provide quality control, data analysis, and program oversight to support fleet readiness and training objectives.
- Process Improvement & Issue Prioritization:
- Lead teams in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives related to Navy training and certification.
- Identify, track, and prioritize training system issues to facilitate resource allocation and scheduling adjustments.
- Scheduling & Certification Management:
- Coordinate and manage critical and required training schedules for units, tracking training requirements to meet deployment-readiness goals.
- Use Navy information systems such as TORIS, RADM, and NTMPS/FLTMPS for efficient training resource management and scheduling.
- Executive Reporting & Presentations:
- Develop PowerPoint briefs that effectively communicate issues and solutions to leadership, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Engage with higher leadership through presentations and reports to outline challenges and improvements in training standards and mission readiness.
Requirements
Experience:
- Surface Navy Shipboard Leadership: Operational experience as a shipboard officer at the Department Head level or above, with a strong foundation in Surface Navy training and certification.
- Training Process & Certification Management: At least two years managing Navy training and certification processes, monitoring key metrics, and addressing training system needs.
- Issue Tracking & Process Improvement: Proven experience in identifying, tracking, and prioritizing issues within training systems and leading teams through process improvement initiatives.
- Navy Information Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with TORIS, RADM, or NTMPS/FLTMPS to manage and track training requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, for creating executive-level briefs.
Knowledge Areas:
- Surface Navy Basic Phase Training: In-depth understanding of Surface Navy Basic Phase training processes as outlined in the Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM).
- Fleet Strategies: Knowledge of the Surface Warfare Training Strategy and Fleet Training Wholeness Strategy to align training goals with fleet requirements.
- Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Process: Familiarity with the POM process, including the procedure for submitting POM issues.
- Non-Combat Expenditure Allowance (NCEA): Understanding of how Ship and Fleet NCEA is planned and issued, as well as the impact of Critical NECs and NEC gaps on ship readiness.

Bachelor’s Degree (No specific discipline)
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
