Application Support Specialist - Data and Analytics

Key Responsibilities:

• Support for BI applications.
• Track, manage service requests.
• Continuously monitor BI systems and applications 
• Work closely with BI developers, data analysts, and other IT teams to identify and resolve application issues and improve system functionality.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement within BI applications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application support, preferably within a BI or data analytics environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of BI tools, SQL, and database management.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and solve complex problems
• Microsoft Analysis Server experience
