In short, strong SFE capabilities are at the core of this and will secure the long-term success for the BBU and AZ overall.
The Global Sales & Operational Excellence team forms part of Global Insight & Business Excellence, playing a critical role in defining the roadmap for future success. Ensuring that the required SFE capabilities are developed across the BBU.
Our Global Sales & Operational Excellence mission is to “Inspire and build capabilities of our teams to deliver outstanding field impact, which change clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and drive growth for our brands”.
Main accountabilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of EUCAN resource allocation data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and refine predictive models to forecast ROI and resource allocation dynamics, extract meaningful insights from large-scale datasets, identify patterns and predict outcomes across multiple brands and countries.
- Provide accurate and insightful data analysis to support ComOps diagnostic projects, use visualisation tools and techniques to provide user friendly insight to help answer specific questions.
- Manage ComOps data, create and maintain pipelines for data processing, analysis, and visualization, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with GIBEX and EUCAN countries to design and implement resource allocation strategies, present findings, share methodologies and contribute to project discussions.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of ComOps projects, ensuring the collection of high-quality data for analysis.
Education/Skills
- Data Science Expertise: Proven expertise in advanced data analytics, statistical modelling, machine learning, and data manipulation.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and related data science libraries and frameworks (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- SQL Proficiency: Solid skills in querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
- Data Modelling: Experience in designing and creating optimal data models to streamline ComOps data.
- Data Visualisation – Familiarity with data visualisation tools and techniques to effectively communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of S&T, ROI processes and challenges within the pharma sector.
- Storytelling & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical collaborators.
- Collaboration: Demonstrable ability to work closely in multi-functional teams and influence decision-making.
- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of S&T, ROI processes and challenges within the pharma sector.
- Problem Solving: Creative problem-solving skills to address unique ComOps challenges using data-driven approaches, ability to think critically about experimental design and data interpretation.
