Scope of the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will play a role in data to enhance the brand’s operational efficiency and customer experience. Focusing on logistics, website traffic, customer purchase behavior, and customer lifetime value (LTV), you’ll analyze data to uncover trends, improve decision-making, and optimize the business's e-commerce operations.

Job Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

Data Collection and Management

  • Gather and integrate data from multiple sources, including GA4, CRM systems, logistics platforms, and other relevant sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for reliable analysis.
  • Optimize picking batches for direct-to-consumer orders and analyze order sequencing to improve operational workflows.

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Perform analysis on customer purchase behaviour, segmentation, and LTV metrics to understand and improve customer retention and profitability.
  • Analyze website traffic, user behaviour, and conversion rates to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Examine logistics data, including returns, shipping, and freight expenses, to identify cost-saving and optimization strategies.
  • Use predictive modelling for forecasting and improving inventory management accuracy.

Reporting and Visualization

  • Define KPIs and create informative reports and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Use data visualization tools to present complex data findings in a clear and actionable format.

Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, sales, product, and supply chain teams to provide data-driven recommendations aimed at optimizing customer acquisition, retention, and logistics.
  • Work closely with other analysts to share insights and foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

Requirements

About You

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in e-commerce data analysis, specifically in website behaviour, customer metrics, and logistics.
    • Required: Experience with Shopify and GA4.
    • Preferred: Experience with Daasity.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Excel, GA4, CRM systems, and SQL.
    • Required experience with Python or Ruby (at least one).
    • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail and ability to translate raw data into actionable insights.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects independently and within a team, meeting deadlines and adapting to varied instruction sources.
