The Data Scientist will collaborate with data product managers, data engineers, business stakeholders, and other data scientists to understand data needs, define/deliver data product requirements, and attain data insights for improved decision-making.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work within a technical team across the data systems & operations landscape including:

  • Data Alchemy: Transform raw data into gold! Dive into vast datasets with volume, velocity, and variety.

  • Your analytical toolkit? Statistical, descriptive, and machine learning techniques using the latest cloud based technology.

  • Algorithm Mastery: Develop new algorithms and models. Collaborate with business teams to bring these models to life—from development to automation.

  • Insights Enrichment: Extract actionable insights from internal data, industry data, and beyond.

  • Empower decision-makers across the business, maximizing financial returns and intellectual capital.

There will be the opportunity to apply advanced data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to extract insights, generate features, and build models that address various business problems and opportunities.

You’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and observability of data products by implementing data testing, monitoring, and documentation standards and best practices.

You’ll work with stakeholders to communicate the value proposition, methodology, and results of data products to both technical and non-technical audiences, using data visualisation and storytelling skills.

What you’ll bring

  • Quantitative Prowess: Your degree in Mathematical or related sciences is your foundation. Use it to analyse, mine, and manage relationships. 📊

  • Stakeholder Influence: Engage with stakeholders using your numerate and analytical skills. 💫

  • Software Proficiency: Work with Python, SQL, and PowerBI to create reports and unravel financial mysteries. 🌐

  • Cross-Functional Networking: Forge alliances across teams. Your ability to connect will bridge gaps. 🔗
