Summary:

Anaconda is seeking a talented Engineering Manager of AI Services to join our rapidly growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.


What You'll Do:

  • Build and lead the AI Evaluation Framework team, establishing methodologies and processes for assessing LLM and Agent performance
  • Drive technical strategy while maintaining focus on business outcomes and ROI
  • Mentor and grow a team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and pragmatic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical initiatives with business objectives
  • Manage team resources, sprint planning, and delivery timelines
  • Provide technical leadership in MLOps practices and infrastructure decisions
  • Balance innovation with practical business needs, ensuring efficient resource utilization

What You Need:

  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python
  • 3+ years of engineering management experience, preferably in AI/ML teams
  • Proven track record in Data Science and MLOps environments
  • Experience with ML model evaluation, metrics, and testing frameworks
  • Strong background in building and maintaining production AI/ML systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Expert-level Python programming
  • Strong understanding of MLOps practices and tools
  • Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation
  • Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
