Data Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a Data Engineer Team Lead who can provide technical leadership to the data engineering team, ensure the team follows best practices, standards, and processes in data engineering, and be responsible for the development and maintenance of high-performance, reusable, reliable, and clean code.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the data engineering team.
• Design, develop, and optimize data infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Ensure that best practices, standards, and processes are followed in data engineering.
• Develop and maintain large-scale data solutions.
• Write high-performance, reusable, reliable, and clean code.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in data engineering and team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
• Experience with programming languages such as .Net Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with distributed data systems and big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Proficiency in OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Git.
• Ability to effectively communicate in technical English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Experience with payment and financial systems is preferred.
• Interest in open-source libraries and bringing new ideas and innovations to the team.
