Preference will be given to a candidate enrolled in a thesis-based graduate program in Computer Engineering, whose thesis is related to machine learning or its applications and whose GPA is above 3.0.
Candidate must have a strong knowledge of Python, Jupiter notebook, and be familiar with open-source machine learning libraries such as Deep Learning libraries, TensorFlow, Weka and others; Git, Windows and Linux, SQL.
Machine Learning use in publication is preferred, especially if used machine learning open-source libraries and API.
Practical work experience involving software engineering and programming, along with involvement and past participation in Data driven competitions, data analytics projects and collaborations, or Data science related Hackathons involvements would be an asset.
Past TA experience in Data Science or Data Analysis or stats related courses are preferred.
