About the job:

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banking Officer to join our dynamic team and  help our client achieve exceptional results. This role is an essential contributor to the daily operations of our investment Banking Team and provides an opportunity to work on significant corporate finance projects that shape the future of industries and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex financial valuation models related to M&A transactions and Project Finance. 

• Prepare comprehensive transaction documents, including Information Memorandums, prospectuses,  teasers, and pitch books, ensuring clarity and accuracy

• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and analyses, performing quality control checks and validating assumptions

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including legal, tax/accounting and due diligence teams, to facilitate smooth transaction processes

• Manage end-to-end processes of M&A, capital markets and other corporate transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Statistics or related field

• MSc in related fields will be considered an asset.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience in investment banking or a related financial services sector, with a focus on M&A , Project Finance and capital markets
• Very good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS - IAS)
• Knowledge of the Institutional Framework (capital market and corporate transformation legislation and company law)
• CFA Candidate or charter holder will be considered an asset
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques, including advanced Excel, VBA, and Python
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Capacity to analyze challenges and develop creative solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
