The Operational Business Data Analyst will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making processes across the organization. This position involves analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.


The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to communicate data findings to various stakeholders.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to management and other stakeholders.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop models and simulations to forecast operational outcomes and support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Business Insights:
    • Translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
    • Support strategic planning initiatives with data-driven insights.
  • Data Management:
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality best practices.
    • Develop and maintain data documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Work with IT and other departments to enhance data collection and analysis processes.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist in the development and execution of operational projects.
    • Provide data support for new initiatives and strategic projects.
    • Monitor and evaluate project outcomes using data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience in an operational or business analyst role is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Additional Information:

· This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the continental United States and/or Canada

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.


US Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $60,000 - $110,000 per year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
