We are looking for a Data Analyst, this will be known internally as a Fleet Modelling Analyst to join our Defence team in Bristol. At Rolls-Royce, we pioneer the power that matters to our customers, to society and to the planet.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location.  It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.  As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

What you will be doing

  • Work with Maintenance Organisations and Engineering within Rolls-Royce Defence to construct simulations to predict demand for engine and platform overhaul and repairs.
  • Work with Defence Capability teams to develop new tools and approaches which includes platform availability modelling and Maintenance Optimisation.
  • Ensuring that all forecast assumptions are documented in line with programme and business requirements.
  • Provision and maintenance of a medium to long-term fleet forecast to support spare part ordering, setting of company budgets.
  • Support to the Business in the development and maintenance of the forecasts in support of win business campaigns, strategic decisions, and customer meetings.

  • Bachelor’s Degree with experience in simulation and forecasting
  • Highly numerate individual who possess strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Machine Learning theories.
  • Experience of repair and overhaul processes and/or customer interface / customer service.
