What You Will Do:

  • Produce customer count, average use, and volume forecasts for the general service market.

  • Generate revenue forecasts using reporting tools (BPC/EPCS), perform check and balance controls, and produce revenue continuity and summary reports.

  • Develop demand forecast summaries and analyses for presentations, including Senior Leadership meetings.

  • Provide timely support, analysis, and interpretation of forecasts and financial performance to Senior Leadership for strategic decisions.

  • Conduct forecast variance analysis by identifying drivers, trends, and explanations for deviations.

  • Assist in preparing long and short-term forecasts, identifying trends/patterns, and reporting key variances due to factors like weather, customer growth, energy prices, market trends, and the economy.

  • Support regulatory applications, including rebasing, rate adjustments, deferral dispositions, LTC projects, gas supply, etc.

  • Maintain/enhance and analyze key macroeconomic indicators impacting the energy industry and the company.

  • Serve as a statistical advisory source and provide reliable client support to organizational stakeholders.

  • Build, design, and maintain forecast and financial models, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency with corporate systems.
     

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics with 6+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong statistical data management and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Knowledge of North American energy markets and Enbridge Gas products and services.

  • In-depth understanding of customer base, rate structures, forecasting processes, and accounting/financial principles.

  • Exceptional teamwork skills and the ability to work with a diverse team in a client-focused environment.

  • Ability to work independently on complex technical issues.

  • Proven ability to resolve and provide solutions to challenging problems.

Preferred:
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry.

  • Proficient with statistical, database, and data analysis software (e.g., Eviews, SAS, EPBCS, BPC-Excel).

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, particularly with statistical, financial, and economic functions and formulas.

  • At least 1 year of experience with Power BI, Python, or Tableau.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
