The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team, a cross-functional group supporting all aspects of Gametime. This role will lead our Attribution efforts and help understand the full customer journey across all channels and touchpoints. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a multi-touch attribution framework to provide a holistic view of our user base and their interactions. As a mobile-first company, you will also need to leverage advanced mobile measurement tools, including SKAdNetwork (SKAN), to ensure accurate mobile install reporting. The ideal candidate will be adept at stitching together user identities across platforms and will work closely with the Product Analytics and Marketing Enablement teams to maintain and manage tracking mechanisms, such as marketing tags. Your work will directly impact how we attribute marketing spend, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize customer acquisition efforts.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with complex attribution models in a mobile-first marketplace setting, and can thrive in a fast-paced, proactive, and dynamic environment.

Above & Beyond: The Impact You'll Make:

  • Multi-Touch Attribution Framework: Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-touch attribution framework that tracks the customer journey across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Mobile Measurement: Leverage SKAdNetwork (SKAN 4) and other mobile measurement instruments to track and report on mobile installs and interactions.
  • User Identity Stitching: Build methods to stitch together user identifiers across platforms using email, IP addresses, device identifiers, and other available data to create a unified view of the customer journey.
  • Marketing Tags and Tracking: Manage marketing tags, UTM parameters, and tracking systems, ensuring accurate data collection for attribution models. Collaborate closely with Product Analytics and the Marketing Enablement team to optimize tracking infrastructure.
  • Marketing Operations: Leverage attribution in order to inform marketing timing and optimization across platforms and channels.
  • Campaign Performance Reporting: Provide detailed reporting on attribution, touchpoints, and campaign performance, with a focus on understanding the effectiveness of different channels and marketing strategies.
  • Stay Current with Tech Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies, especially in mobile measurement and attribution (e.g., SKAN, GA4, privacy frameworks).
