About the role: 
The Medical Data Specialist I will provide support to ensure the quality and integrity of clinical data for pre- and post-market clinical studies by reviewing clinical data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Assist in the creation of tools such as data collection instruments, data management plans, database specifications, and edit checks. Collaborate with cross-functional clinical colleagues (e.g., Trial Operations, Site Operations, Clinical IS, Safety, Biostatistics, Quality and Medical Sciences).

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Review clinical data for completeness, accuracy and consistency in accordance with the investigational plan.
  • Develop and maintain data management documentation and guidelines in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Provides accurate and timely clinical data to internal and external customers upon request.
  • Develop, test, and maintain data management systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise prior, during and post internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate, core and study-specific learning requirements.
     

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a science, technical, health-related field or other applicable discipline.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, SAS
  • Excellent interpersonal communication 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
