About the role
 

  • Our Engineering and Construction department, is focused on deploying end-to-end Assets performance projects aiming to enhance the performance of assets in production and improve operational costs.
  • As an Advanced Automation & Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for leading dynamic simulation projects to support DCS functional tests or assess, improve and optimize new and existing process.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Translate business needs by leading on-site diagnostics, and focusing on Design, Implementation and on-site Commissioning of Advanced Process Control and Advanced Analytics projects.
    • Provide technical support to the Group's production sites, including training site engineers in optimization techniques for Advanced Process Control and Advanced Analytics topics.
    • Adopt a data-driven approach to extract actionable insights from production data, driving performance optimization and continuous improvement.

 

  • We offer a permanent contract based on remote working mode.

 

About you

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a process control engineer with exposure to continuous and batch processes
  • Ability to design and implement basic and advanced control schemes as well as complex sequence logic.
  • Experience in leading and managing small project.
  • Exposure to DCS application development (Experience with Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa would be beneficial).
  • Competencies:
    • Knowledge of Model Predictive Control & Inferential measures implementation.
    • Knowledge of Aspen DMC3, OsiSoft PI or AspenTech IP21.
    • Familiarity with advanced analytics platforms like SEEQ is a plus but not mandatory.
    • Regularly traveling in other production units within Solvay and the ability and willingness to travel in US and possibly LATAM, APAC and EMEA.

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $103,360/yr to $129,200/yr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
