In this role, you'll drive initiatives to enhance product reliability, working hands-on to plan, design, and conduct reliability testing for advanced equipment. You'll partner closely with design teams and project stakeholders, ensuring that products meet rigorous functional standards throughout their lifespan. This is a dynamic position that demands deep technical expertise, offering opportunities to align new product development strategies with reliability goals, develop innovative testing methods, refine processes, and implement cross-functional improvements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develops strategy and processes for all aspects of designing, testing, producing, and maintaining reliable products.
- Leads the successful planning and completion of major reliability programs and projects.
- Thinks analytically regarding components and subassemblies functioning as a part of larger system meeting design requirements.
- Designs and develops test methodology and acceptance criteria for testing of equipment products at system, subassembly, and component levels.
- Authors plans, test protocols, test reports, and other documentation as required.
- Analyze test and product field use data to determine recommended actions for product improvement.
- Mentors less experienced personnel.
- Directs one or more major phases of complex engineering work, utilizing engineering skills to devise entirely new approaches to problems encountered in projects.
- Presents complex technical information/analysis, and responds to questions from technical staff members and management regularly and effectively.
- Provides broad-based direction within functional area and cross functionally.
- Applies technical expertise to complex tasks with in-depth knowledge of related work areas.
- Performs various analysis as required, including the following areas: tolerance, stress, thermal, fatigue, systems, statistical reliability demonstration and growth.
- Work direction responsibility may include technicians and junior engineers.
- May work with manufacturing and other functional groups on manufacturing and regulatory compliance issues.
- May contribute to the establishment of business objectives, goals, budgets and costs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
- Bachelor’s of Science degree or Master of Science degree in Engineering preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years experience.
Skills
- Requires demonstrated skills in technical innovation, technical leadership, and engineering.
- Demonstrated interactive skills in cross functional participation and influence, mentoring and acceptance of guidance, technical leadership, project management, team behavior, and support for colleagues and management.
- Ability to represent the organization as the prime technical contact on projects, and interact with senior level external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Ability to follow and develop technical specification requirements and provide significant input on technical procedures on various processes that impact multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge and ability to implement FDA or regulatory requirements as necessary.
- Ability to building consensus across product and functional teams.
- Ability to solicit and accept the ideas of others, and actively contribute to an environment conducive to open communication.
- Ability to regularly and effectively present complex technical information/analysis, and respond to questions from technical staff members and management.
- Understanding of and adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Experience in reliability testing, programs, methodology, and analysis preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical design and CAD, with SolidWorks experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with software controlled electromechanical systems preferred.
- Software skills for automation of test fixtures and data analysis preferred (e.g. XML, Python, PowerBi, SQL, etc.).
- Knowledge in reliability statistics and statistical computer programs preferred (e.g. Minitab, Reliasoft, Weibull++, etc.).

LOCATION
Lakewood, Colorado - Open to candidates willing to relocate to the area.

Requires travel based on business needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- General Labor Environment requirements include: use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, hand/finger dexterity, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.

Target Pay Range: $123,600.00 to $154,500.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base: 10.0%
