Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: CST

Impact & contribution:

Reduce the deployment time of model by utilising advance tools and technology. In this role you’ll assist execution of strategic initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance.

Reporting lines: Reports to Senior Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, Develop and implement ETL processes using Ab Initio.

• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency

• Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability

• Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards

• Technical Leadership: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholder to understand requirements and deliver solutions

• Trouble shooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ETL processes and data integration

Essential Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 6-9 years of experience in ETL development, with at least 4 year Using Ab Initio

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Tech or a related field

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio, Unix/Linux, SQL and scripting languages such as shell or Perl

• Soft Skills - Strong Analytical, Problem - Solving and communication skills

• Certifications: Relevant Certifications in Ab Initio or data Integration are a plus

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
