In this exciting role as a Statistician you will have responsibility for transforming the way Quality utilizes data by creating opportunities to drive improved Postmarket Surveillance methods through statistical consulting.

A Day in the Life

• Designs, plans and executes statistical components of technical projects that impact the safety, efficacy, and marketability of Medtronic products.
• Uses sound statistical methodology to conduct studies relating to the life cycle of the product.
• Develops and/or applies statistical theories, methods, and software.
• Lead and participate on cross-functional projects
• Present technical content to all levels of the organization including senior leadership
• Summarizes and interprets data into tabular and graphical formats amenable to principles of statistical inference and is responsible for the statistical component of reports describing studies, outcomes and methods used.
• Develops or provides specifications and directions on statistical programming projects.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

A baccalaureate degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree in math, statistics, computer science, or related field

Extensive R or Python programming experience

Statistical process control experience

Survival analysis experience

Medical device domain knowledge

Project management experience

Demonstrated ability to communicate technical content to non-statisticians (written and verbal)

•    M. Tech Candidates should be available for 8-10 Months Internship 
•    M. Tech students from specific branches with 75% and above throughout 10th, 12th, UG Degree & PG Degree
•    M. Tech students graduating in 2025 without any active backlogs.
