Position Vacant: Digital & Technology Specialist

Location: Port Moresby
We have an immediate requirement for a Digital & Technology Specialist, reporting to the ICT Manager.
Main duties include:
- Drive digital innovation across the business by creating opportunities for leveraging and using Data and AI to improve performance and productivity in all areas.
- Create innovative digital solutions for the business through automation and analytics using AI and Power platforms.
- Create and build data pipelines from different data sources used by the business for ingestion in the data lake for the Analytics Enablement Platform.
- Supporting and collaborating on any Digital Transformation initiatives implemented, be it local or global at SPB across all areas of ICT.
- Track and monitor development work using Microsoft power platforms.
- Administer, monitor, maintain and respond in a very timely manner to requests for technical assistance received in ICT Service Desk system for all digital apps created locally.
- Collaborate with key hubs in Heineken across APAC and globally to learn, share and apply innovations that can add value to the business.
- Work with and support the ICT Manager to develop and improve workflows to increase efficiency, enhance workflow, improve controls and improve user satisfaction through digitalization.
- Will liaise and work closely with other members of the ICT Department to implement digital transformation initiatives.
Increase collaborations across departments to drive value in Data & Analytics as well as AI for added value in their daily operations.
- Work with and share learnings by training users and colleagues on the use of apps developed locally as well the use of the Power platform tools to create simple forms and apps.
- At times when required D&T Specialist will perform general ICT Support to users at all 4 sites as per assigned.
- In the absence of any other ICT team members, D&T Specialist will step in to assist and provide support where necessary.
Qualification and Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology or Mathematics & Computer Science or Data Science from a recognized University.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Strong knowledge of AI frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Peras).
- Excellent experience in use of platforms tools like SharePoint, PowerApp, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms for AI deployment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Must have experience using Generative AI technology especially Microsoft Copilot
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Must have excellent understanding, experience and working knowledge of IT network, technologies, equipment, and design;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Must be Proficient in use of Office 365 applications and administration tools, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, SharePoint, and Power Platforms
