Job Description

For our Leidschendam office we are looking for a Data Analytics Specialist. As a Data Analytics Specialist, your primary purpose is to leverage data to drive business value and support decision-making across the organization. Your work will have direct impact on the organization’s ability to identify opportunities, optimize processes and drive growth, helping to ensure that the organization remains competitive in a rapidly evolving business landscape. Our Data Integrations and Analytics team delivers practical insights into business data by collecting data from different sources, combining and modelling this data into meaningful facts and metrics and presenting them in a visually attractive dashboards which provide insight.

Your role

• You collaborate with internal customers to understand their data needs and collect, analyze and interpret data and provide insights and recommendations, enabling them to make informed decisions about strategy, product development and customer engagement.

• You provide guidance on the selection and use of appropriate tools and technologies, ensuring compliance with data governance policies and standards;

• You optimize data models for efficient querying and reporting and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data models across different systems and platforms;

• You design, build and maintain user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards that provide valuable insights to end-users;

• You integrate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive view of the business and continuously monitor and improve.

Your track record

• You have a BSc degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.

• You have relevant certifications such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300), or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600).

• You have at least 4 years of experience working with Power BI, including proficiency in Power Query, DAX, SQL, and data visualization best practices.

• You have extensive knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure data quality and integrity together with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• You are fluent in English, both written and oral.
