We are currently looking for a Data Engineering Executive to join our Digital Transformation team.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Data Engineering Executive, you will have the following responsibilities;
 

Designing data infrastructure and preparing data to be analyzed, building complex queries to create “data pipelines”, cleaning data sets, and arranging problems (typically given by data scientists&analytics specialist) in the programmed system.

Point of contact to support and drive best experience for Nestle IT receivers. In this context; Supervise day to day IT data engineering operations while ensuring best quality service and support at best Service Level Agreement for our receivers.

Empower all workforce personas to better collaborate and communicate by embracing the Digital Workplace. Remain continuously aware of today’s technology changes and act as sounding board to aid in the support and deployment of creative solutions with data.

Work with Analytics development team to define how to leverage the End User Solutions to meet their needs.

Focus on secure, compliant, and reliable processes.

Define best way to introduce data technology.

Train all data receivers about data structure and modelling

Understanding business problems and transforming them to data requests

Building logical data models corresponding to business needs

Creating source to target data mapping documents to clarify how to source and transform data.

Creating test scenarios and ensuring data products are implemented in high quality.

Providing and supporting self service BI activities according to the business needs.

Turning data into actionable insights using various big data analytic frameworks.

Presenting the company with data warehousing options based on their technology & storage needs.

Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.

Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.

Providing maintenance support.

Which profile are we looking for?

Bachelor or Master’s Degree ranging from business administration, economics, management information systems, statistics, mathematics, and computer science

4+ years hands-on experience as a data warehouse management and data engineering development.

Strong business understanding, analytical and problem solving skills.

Advanced knowledge of SQL,PL/SQL,MDX and DAX

Strong data management skills (data warehouse modeling, data preparation, data quality management, data engineering and data visualization)

Experience with BI frontend platforms (Power BI/SAC/ etc.)

Knowledge of agile methodologies.

Broad knowledge of Data Integration technologies ( Web Services, REST API, SQL Replication and Integration Runtime)

General Knowledge of SAP BW (BEX Query)

Experience in at least one ETL & ELT software suite (MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc)

Experience on the Microsoft Azure for Analytics Platforms(Synapse Analytics,Azure Analysis services)

General understanding of Service∏ Delivery Processes

Ability to analyze proposed solutions and Critical thinking within a technical environment

Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.

Ability to understand complex business processes, rules and gain business acumen to become a subject matter expert

Willingness to learn new tools, take ownership of projects, and always strive to raise the bar.

Eager to learn.

FMCG know-how is a plus.

Fluency in English, excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
