Staff/Senior Software Consultant - PowerBI/Tableau

Role
We are looking for an experienced Data analyst. Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• You will take a key part in the development of the next core tools of the company, including: Developing proprietary algorithms' visualizations and in addition expanding existing visualization capabilities ranging from network analysis to ML and Develop analytical solutions for better monitoring of our systems and understanding user needs
• Develop, maintain and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI.
• Select the most appropriate data visualizations to meet specific business requirements.
• Conduct thorough data analysis, ensure data integrity through validation, and design data mapping.
• Regularly review and refine existing reports, dashboards, and analytics platforms to enhance their effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to monitor system performance and gain insights into user behavior, driving better decision-making.
• Mentors the other technical staff, assists them where needed and leads the effort in resolving technical challenges

Requirements

 

• Proficient understanding of various database systems and familiarity with Tableau or Power BI data environments.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in developing and managing Tableau or Power BI dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to create consistent and impactful visualizations, dashboards, charts, and reports organization wide.
• Proven background in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
• Exceptional analytical abilities for dissecting business requirements and strong problem-solving skills for addressing development challenges.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in SQL.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data analyst role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in query performance tuning, schema design, and ELT/ETL processes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as R or Python is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various database types, including NoSQL databases and data lakes, is advantageous.
