The role sits within the UK ETP team and is jointly responsible with the broader secondary markets team for managing the LSE ETP trading service product and driving ETP business development initiatives. Other responsibilities will be to support ETP product development, including managing parts of the product development life cycle, stay well-informed of any ETP regulatory impacts. This is an executive role within LSE Capital Markets. With a reporting line directly to the Senior Manager – Exchange Traded Products, the role will give the candidate regular exposure to senior members of the team and LSEG management.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with ETP business development for both primary and secondary markets, including across cross-cutting initiatives such as ESG investing.
- Support ETP market product development and product management.
- Help drive implementation of ETP product development and trading analytics capabilities with the support of the team to empower enhanced client engagement including demonstrating our value proposition
- Stay well informed of ETP regulatory impacts, both current and anticipated and proactively seek product enhancement opportunities which may present themselves as a result
- Liaise with other Exchange departments, including Admissions, KYC, Compliance, Technology and Operations teams to ensure the seamless operation of ETP listing and trading services.
- Responsible for improving execution quality data analytics and reporting capability supporting strategic initiatives such as RFQ 2.0.
- ETP Issuer, Market Maker, and trading member client relationship management including deepening our adoption of Salesforce and other CRM tools
- Act as a touch point internally and externally for both primary and secondary market queries
- Working closely with the marketing team to ensure key marketing initiatives are effectively planned and executed
- Support broader LSEG initiatives and proactively engage in cross Group collaboration
- Provide insight on member firm trading behaviour and issuer trends to drive client engagement and strategic planning.
Key Behaviours and Skills Required to be Successful in the Role
Prior Working Experience or Knowledge:
- Minimum of 1 years with relevant experience/knowledge/ interest in Investment Banking or Financial Services.
- Has experience of Business Intelligence tools and Microsoft applications.
- Preferably some coding skills such as SQL or Python.
Communication:

- Maintains regular contact with the ETP team to ensure they are informed and updated on progress, issues, and timelines Analysis and Problem Solving Assimilates information and identifies the pertinent points quickly Analyses issues to identify the most commercial, realistic, and pragmatic solutions Analyses data efficiently with a view to deliver high quality research.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:
- Degree or equivalent in Economic, Finance, Statistics
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
