The Senior Principal is a managerial position India B&D CoE. The selected incumbent will be part of the India B&D team managing quant researchers addressing cutting-edge strategic issues facing today’s senior-most functional executives at leading global corporations.
Senior Principal will lead a team of 4 to 6 quantitative researchers responsible for conducting surveys, collecting, and analyzing data, creating data-based reports for clients, and generating data-based insights. The content you and your team create will serve the needs of CXO’s and their teams operating globally.
What you will do:
- Design standardized data reports for clients that help them understand internal gaps as well as allow them to benchmark themselves against their peers.
- Communicate and present analytical insights to clients and internal stakeholders that include senior practice leaders, subject matter experts and advisors.
- Lead and promote best practice in design, execution, process & delivery of diagnostic and benchmarking products.
- Own end-to-end creation, development, and analysis of large, complex, disparate data sets to identify actionable insights for senior executives.
- Manage Benchmarking and Diagnostic product life cycle to increase utilization including:
- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues.
- Develop the collateral and sales tools that support the selling process.
- Providing vison for product life cycle.
- Manage, nurture, and develop a team of diagnostic and benchmarking managers.
- Build scalable team structures and processes – Create career paths and provide growth opportunities for high performers.
- Manage quality and productivity of the teams’ projects, triage requests as appropriate, and manage day-to-day operations of the central team.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior team members related to all aspects of fulfillment including survey design, administration, client walkthroughs, and insight generation.
- Develop a First Team culture – work closely with peer managers to build trust, encourage teamwork and identify synergies to capitalize for highest impact.
What you will need:
- MBA or a Postgraduate Degree from a recognized premier Institute in disciplines with a strong analytics component, including Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics.
- 7 to 9 years of experience at a leading survey-based research or consulting firm or as a practitioner who has played significant role in finance, operations, or procurement.
- At least 18 months managerial experience with direct or indirect supervision responsibilities.

- People management skills – Managing teams in a matrix reporting environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills a must for this role.
