- Supports the Solution Owner by translating the business requirements to technical solutions and required implementations. Also defines required technical enablers to keep the solutions in good health.


 

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  • Actively contribute to professional and reliable technology delivery for business systems, Qlik platform, and analytics processes for business domain/function(s) in scope.

  • Accountable to plan, define, and develop high-level designs for solutions.

  • Investigation, analysis, and documentation of all part of BI/Qlik projects in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use.

  • Act as support level 4 in case of any major issue within operations and provide necessary support.

  • Design and implement architecture guidelines across landscapes and technologies.

  • Act as technical expert for upgrade activities.

  • Perform PoC and onboarding of new technology within Data & Analytics and BI teams by building best practice approaches, define standard and rollout it to the systems and team involved.

  • Conduct hardware sizing exercises to ensure scalability of Qlik platform and propose key stakeholders with appropriate recommendations.

  • Value adding to key internal stakeholders, measured by specific and relevant KPIs.

  • Deliver solutions with high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Systems and processes globally standardized and in full compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Working with Enterprise Architects to align solution architecture with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Actively contribute to on time, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio/respective engagements within budget.

  • Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions and services.

  • Ensure adherence to Security & Compliance policies and procedures as well as with other Sandoz guidelines and standards.

  • Working with Supplier Management to evaluate options for solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs.

Key performance indicators:

  • Delivery on agreed KPIs including business impact.

  • Launch of innovative technology solutions across Sandoz at scale.

  • Business impact and value generated from TT solutions.

  • Operations stability and effective risk management.

  • Feedback on customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:

  • Proven experience (5+years) in Qlik Sense and Cloud application architecture design.

  • Ideally already worked on Qlik Cloud platform solutioning for end-to-end design and migration of applications).

  • Experience in client facing role working with application teams and cloud operations from implementation until/including transition to operations.

  • Experience with Qlik 3rd party vendors, executing and evaluating software to meet business requirements at scale.

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus.

    Experience in product delivery and architecture, including as an Architect of enterprise solutions.

Skills:

  • Overall 10+year experience within IT, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a role as Qlik Architecture and Solution Engineering.
  • Qlik Sense client managed, Qlik Cloud administration and integration, platform automation and monitoring.
  • Entra ID authentication and authorization model design and implementation.
  • Qlik Sense application development, solution design, application architecture reviews, troubleshooting and optimization.
  • AWS and Azure cloud services, Security, Virtual Machine & DB set-up. Wep/App services, storage account, load balancer, API gateway & other data integration.
  • Familiar with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, BitBucket), AWS DevOps Board; implementation in Agile methodology.
  • Experienced in guiding and supporting use-case teams across wide geographies & in collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to align a strategic IT service portfolio with business needs.
  • Experience with change management through process engineering and/or participating in large-scale IT change / transformation programs.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to present features and solution recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Languages :

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
