The Role:

This role leads the Product Content Planning capability to manage the creation, acquisition
and performance of all content on Product Detail Pages.
You will manage a team of analysts who manage the creation, acquisition and performance
of all content on Product Detail Pages. Driving enterprise-level process excellence via
operational dexterity or leading projects that enhance our guests’ (that’s what we fondly
call our customers) experience will be the core of what you do. Your team will look to you
to support their career aspirations and coach them every step of the way! Process
expertise, data analytics, automation, project and change management will be key to this
role.

You will report to the Director/ Sr. Director, Enterprise Item.
A typical day at work would involve:
Team: Training, leading, coaching and developing a team of 5-12 team members of
Content Analysts and Lead Specialists. Developing the team through on-the-job
experiences, relevant feedback, visibility and recognition. Career planning for team
members through structured and purposeful 1x1 engagement.
Creation and acquisition of world class content: Employ methods to create and
acquire content such as copy, images, video, rich media, user-generated content,
reviews, Q&A, badges, size charts etc. from sellers as well as through external third
party providers.
Metrics improvements: Monitor and improve content performance of Key
Performance Inputs, including CTR, Conversion impact, Content Quality and content
accuracy
Improving digital traffic and conversion: Use data analytics coupled with
industry research to identify areas that are lagging in traffic and conversion and then drive initiatives to improve the same in partnership with the Product and
business teams.
Product and Technology Partnership: Lead global technology initiatives with
Product partners to enable process and system efficiencies and improve operations.
Spearhead new product rollouts and look at avenues for system improvements
based on continuous user feedback. Focus on automation to enhance current
processes.
Data Intelligence: Identify and utilize appropriate tools for data analysis and
mapping. Base and drive process and system efficiencies in a data-driven fashion
and through global collaboration.
With most agile organizations, job responsibilities may change/ evolve at any time based on
business needs.
