Your Impact

  •  Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and implementation of large language models (LLMs) for Cerence's software products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, product managers, and engineers, to define requirements and specifications for LLM-based features and functionalities.

  • Develop and optimize algorithms and techniques for training and fine-tuning large language models, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Design and implement software components and modules to integrate LLM capabilities into Cerence's speech recognition and natural language understanding systems.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of LLM-based features to ensure high performance, reliability, and robustness in real-world automotive environments.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing (NLP) technologies, and contribute to research and innovation efforts within the company.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on AI, machine learning, and natural language processing.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Solid understanding of large language models (LLMs), deep learning architectures, and NLP techniques.

  • Experience with training and fine-tuning large language models using large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
