Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

In this role, you will lead a team in developing GenAI-based development tools to improve developer productivity. You will develop server code as well as middleware code which implement functionalities that interact with Google's latest LLMs. You will work closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers from both Google Cloud AI and Google Research, developing challenging machine learning solutions that will contribute directly to Google's product excellence.Responsibilities
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Help grow our presence in Warsaw, and grow and sustain a healthy and collaborative culture for the new team.
- Lead a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
