Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Research Leader in AI Computing Architecture to spearhead our initiatives in optimizing and innovating computing frameworks that facilitate powerful AI operations. This role involves leading a team of experts in designing next-generation computing architectures, with a particular focus on scalability, efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong leadership background, technical expertise, and a strategic outlook to our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead research and development projects aimed at creating state-of-the-art computing architectures for AI applications.
- Define and direct the research agenda to align with strategic business goals and technological advancements.
- Manage and mentor a team of researchers and engineers, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders across the company to integrate AI computing architecture initiatives with broader company objectives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements in AI and computing architecture.
- Develop partnerships with academic institutions and other research entities to enhance knowledge exchange and technical development.
- Ensure the technical feasibility and scalability of computing architectures for deployment in various AI scenarios.
- Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and other events, showcasing our leadership in AI computing architecture.
Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computing architectures or AI.
- 10+ years of experience in research and development within the field of computing architecture, including substantial experience in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with AI technologies, particularly in the areas of machine learning and deep learning.
- Proven track record of innovative solutions in computing architecture and successful project leadership.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents in relevant fields.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire and direct a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hardware acceleration technologies, such as GPUs, TPUs, or custom ASICs.
- Previous collaboration with industry leaders and technology providers in the AI space.
- Demonstrated ability to secure funding and resources for research initiatives.
