Overview

You will become part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigor. Your Opportunity

As a Value Creation professional, you will help our clients understand the risks and upside opportunities of transformation initiatives and identify where enterprise value can be improved. You will develop strategic options and provide end-to-end delivery – from identifying where potential lies to building a compelling plan for change, to ultimately implementing the programs to release value. You will deploy a powerful combination of hypothesis-led thinking with advanced data analytics and KPMG’s standardized methodologies for identifying and quantifying value for client transformations, turnarounds, and transactions.

  • Lead cross-functional teams’ delivery of value identification and quantification, transformation planning, implementation roadmap development, and handover to other functions for execution
  • Accountable for deliver quality, acting as the primary team interface with client stakeholders across all levels and coordinating the internal project team and client contributors
  • Stay current on industry trends and help anticipate any impacts to client value proposition under different scenarios, with both near-term and long-term perspective
  • Manage business development initiatives focused on Strategy and Performance Transformation, including the development of proposals, Points-of-View to facilitate discussion and thought leadership
  • Participate in professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the coaching of Managers

 

How You’re Extraordinary

  • 8+ years of external consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy, boutique strategy, private equity, or Big 4 consulting firm and/or 12+ years of work experience in a strategic cross-functional role at a corporate or private equity firm; or a combination of the two
  • Experience in transformation architecture, value creation, corporate development, product innovation, market sizing, business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, working capital, logistics and/or other relevant strategy experience
  • Strong business acumen with robust analytical/problem solving skills and the ability to understand how business model decisions impact the operating model and organisational design across functions
  • Sufficient experience and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as advanced analytics or visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Alteryx, to review and provide guidance to junior team members
  • Python coding and an awareness of latest technology (e.g., genAI, Copilot, machine learning, cloud environment) is a plus
  • Proficient in storytelling, with the capability to construct an engaging narrative that effectively communicates the client impact
  • End-to-end experience in identifying, initiating, and nurturing new or on-going business opportunities
  • Adaptability and cultural awareness evidenced by successfully fostering effective collaboration with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; higher education degree such as an MBA and/or professional certification(s) is preferred
