Summary:

The Senior HR Data Analyst is responsible for providing support in four primary areas: Workday transactions, HR content management, process improvement, and end-user education. This multifaceted role ensures that employees have access to accurate and up-to-date information, while also promoting a positive workplace culture and supporting the organization's overall objectives.

 

This position will work closely with HR professionals, department heads, and other stakeholders to provide support for Workday transactions, maintain HR content, identify opportunities for process improvement, and educate end users on HR systems and processes.

 

Schedule & Location:

This is an exempt full-time position that is based on-site in Johnston, RI. Start and stop times are flexible. Core on-site workdays are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Flexibility for remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays, weekly, based on business needs.

 

 

Responsibilities

Workday Human Capital Management:

  • Provide support for assisting employees and managers with complex systems and business process transactions
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Workday system issues and enhancements, working closely with the HR Ops, COEs and HR Product team
  • Ensure timely, on-going communications and status updates to ensure customers and management are well informed of issues and pending resolutions
  • Manages international assignment, relocations, and business travelers’ processes in Workday
  • Assist Manager with annual audits and regulatory reporting

 

Special Projects/ End-User Education:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR tiered projects identified by the manager
  • Develop and deliver training resources to educate end-users on HR systems and processes, including Workday and other HR-related 25% tools
  • Collaborate with HR professionals and department heads to ensure end-users have a thorough understanding of HR systems and processes and can effectively utilize them for business needs and projects

 

HR Content Management:

  • Manage HR the uploading of employee handbooks, policy manuals, training materials, and other HR-related documents on Globalport (internal employee intranet), SharePoint and any other platforms
  • Manage security for various HR related content including the manager resource page
  • Collaborate with other areas of HR to ensure content is up to date and being properly showcased on Globalport

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization's HR practices remain relevant and up to date
  • Within scope, identifies and recommends improvements to internal procedures to streamline workflows and improve user experience
  • Provide on-going team support to ensure team members understand downstream impact and appropriate groups are informed of internal changes
  • Any additional task/ responsibilities identified by the manager

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Associates Degree (a combination of education and relevant professional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

 

Highly Preferred Education:

  • Bachelors Degree

 

Required Work Experience:

  • 3+ years relevant professional work experience in Human Resources, Finance and/or Accounting
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills

 

Highly Preferred Work Experience:

  • Experience in developing process improvements and working with internal and external vendors preferred

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite, especially with Excel
  • Proficient knowledge of OnBase database technology
  • Extraordinary customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, key stakeholders, and HR colleagues
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/competing priorities

 

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of HCM module in Workday and impact on other Workday modules such as payroll, compensation, etc.

 

The hiring range for this position is $30.63 - $44.09 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
