Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with a strong background in retail banking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various retail banking products and services, including but not limited to checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), loans, merchant services, and payment processing. Someone who will help define performance metrics data for a 360 degree view of the business that will provide insights for the management.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Knowledge and Analysis:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of retail banking product offerings.
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather and document business requirements related to retail banking products and services.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit and prioritize requirements.

Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting and Analysis:
  • Drive the requirements for BI reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with data analysts and BI teams to develop insightful dashboards and reports that aid in decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BI solutions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the retail banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of retail banking products, services, and the processes involved.
  • Experience with BI tools and reporting initiatives; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and business analysis tools.
