You, as a Data Scientist will have an opportunity to build and migrate decision models together with your team to disrupt current credit granting processes and putting customers first by fast and transparent credit decisions.
You will be part of Decision Modeling, a team consisting of 60+ employees working from our offices in Copenhagen and Vilnius. We are a team with a flat structure and informal atmosphere. We work in a high-paced environment with many stakeholders. Our focal point is to ensure high customer satisfaction in everything we do. Some of the key aspects that will take us there are automated decisions in the customer journeys by creating standardised processes and minimizing resources spent.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

You will:
- Develop and maintain our existing end-to-end decision flows to increase automation, improve advisory and reduce credit risk
- Make credit data analysis and profiling, ensuring the right data quality is in place
- Handle and manipulate data, contributing to the automation of the customer journey
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across customers, risk, credit, IT and business to capture the necessary business understanding
- Be integrating into the application process by interconnecting IT and the customer journey
About you:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Programming, Statistics, or other relevant fields
- Experience of solving technical problems by using SQL and Python
- Ability to embrace stakeholder management and collaborate with many different types of people communicating technical results in a non-technical and concise manner
- Upper-intermediate English, both spoken and written with solid communication skills
- Experience working with Object Oriented Programming in Python would be a bonus, if not, we expect an open mind and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of working with Azure Dev Ops pipelines, Docker and/or OpenShift is a great advantage

Monthly salary range from 2640 EUR to 3960 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
