We are looking for a skilled and experienced Performance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our software applications, systems, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performance testing, analysis, optimization, and monitoring to deliver high-performing solutions that meet our requirements and user expectations.Role Overview
- Conduct performance testing using both API and UI for scripting and data setup.
- Understand test load models, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Expertise in: Performance Test Planning, Estimation, Strategy, Workload Design, Test Case Design, Test Environment & Data Setup, and Defect Management.
- Proficiency in JMeter is essential.
- Experience with at least one monitoring tool (e.g., Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana).
- Ability to execute various non-functional tests (benchmark, load, stress, endurance) and monitor system behavior via application logs.
- Analyze CPU, memory, network usage, and garbage collection to assess application performance.
- Generate performance graphs, reports, and documentation; prepare detailed status reports and monitor defects.
- Identify memory leaks, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Design performance test scripts based on requirements.
- Participate in performance bottleneck analysis and resolution.
- Engage in performance engineering and improvement activities.
- Automate and manage performance tests.
- Provide regular status reports on progress and issues.
- Collaborate with business and application teams to enhance system performance.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with JMeter.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in performance testing.
