Job Summary

This position focuses on Mobile Core Network Planning, encompassing responsibilities such as project control, capacity planning, and expansion of Mobile Core network components for various generations (3G/4G/5G). This involves detailed planning, collaboration with architecture teams, and the creation of automated tools for parameter maintenance and synchronization. Additionally, the role entails software and hardware verification, KPI consolidation, and regular reporting on traffic assumptions and trends. Qualified candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunication or Computer/IT Engineering, possess 5-7 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate proficiency in programming tools, data analytics, and communication skills. The ideal candidate would exhibit proactive problem-solving abilities, a service-oriented mindset, and proficiency in English and computer skills.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Project control and design for capacity planning and expansion of Mobile Core network NEs/Nodes (EPC, IMS, HSS, DGW, Signaling Network, CS Core) for 3G/4G/5G, ensuring compliance with target architecture design and supporting Marketing forecasts, special events, new services, etc.

• Detailed planning of Nationwide Mobile Core network components for implementing, commissioning, and integrating Mass and Corporate services (EPC, IMS, HSS, DGW, Signaling Network, SBC, CS Core, and NFV platform) for 3G/4G/5G.

• Creation of workflows or automated tools to maintain and synchronize Mobile Core network parameters consistently across nodes and master files for 3G/4G/5G Network & services.

• Collaboration with Mobile Core Architecture & Solution team to align/deploy/implement mobile core network roadmap/solutions and adapt to Network Topology and detailed planning.

• Conducting verification and testing of new software & hardware, summarizing SW quality and impact assessment, and participating in Proof of Concept (PoC) projects.

• Consolidation of standard KPIs, aligning Mobile Core statistics, formulas, and elements to fulfill team requirements, setting up monitoring tools, and Capacity alert tools.

• Providing regular reports on Mobile Core traffic assumptions, traffic model information, utilization, and usage trend analysis, initiating automation tools for Network & Service Planning.

• Providing support for special projects and performing assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Telecommunication or Computer/IT Engineering.

• 5-7 years of experience in Mobile Core Network Planning/Operation, particularly in Data Package Core Network.

• Experience with 3G/4G EPC Core, IP Network, Diameter & Signaling, IMS Core Network, IPV6, 5G Fundamentals, NFV.

• Programming skills supporting planning tools such as Python, Power BI, knowledge in Database, AI/ML.

• Data analytic skills preferred.

• Proactive, service-minded, and idea initiative.

• Proficiency in English and computer skills.
