Join Collins Aerospace as a Data Analyst. We’re looking for someone like you, that is passionate about data analytics and can thrive in a highly technical environment. If you're a problem solver, we want to hear from you!

The Data Analytics Team is responsible for the collection, curation, analysis, and reporting of Collins Aerospace components data. This role will be an integral member of the team, with responsibilities as a Scrum Master and Analytics Developer. The role calls for experience in Python, Databases, SQL, organization/presentation skills, and other software tools/technologies.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What YOU will do:

  • Define stories, points, and features
  • Set up and plan all Scrum events
  • Track and follow up on actions
  • Preparation of slide decks for demos and reporting to leadership
  • Create Python code for website, data analytics/integration, and visualization
  • Test Rig onboarding activities per standard work and information gathering
  • Development of website/app features and test time savings data analytics
  • Perform data cleaning using Python
  • Generate and execute database DDL, DML
  • Perform data quality checks
  • Understand context of technical data and how to appropriately normalize data into business metrics
  • Statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity of a data source

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree in Math, Data Science, or Computer Science
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Database and SQL experience
  • Knowledge/Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master)
  • Experience with Python (for web development and data analytics)
  • AWS Ecosystem experience
