Description
The Senior Research Scientist will be conducting NIH funded research on topics in computational and theoretical neuroscience, specifically neural circuit theory.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500-$90,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Qualifications
Qualified individuals will have a PhD in neuroscience, at least one year of postdoctoral experience in neuroscience, training (either an undergraduate or master’s degree) in physics, experience acquiring and analyzing neurophysiological data from animal models, and expertise in nonlinear dynamical systems, machine learning, statistics, and Python and PyTorch programming.
