Data Engineer (Python, SQL, AWS & Data Warehousing Expert) & ETL Tester

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience to support our Analytics initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for building datasets, deploying machine learning models, and optimizing data pipelines. Your main responsibilities will include developing production-level code and transforming data for use in analytics products.

Basic Requirements:

• Extensive Hands-On Experience:

  • Proficiency in Python (especially Pyspark) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and managing data in relational databases.

• Cloud Technologies: Experience using cloud platforms, particularly AWS (including S3, Redshift, and SNS).

• ETL and Batch Processes: Expertise in developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and batch processes to facilitate data movement and integration.

• RDBMS and Data Warehousing:

  • Deep understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and practices.

• Database Design: Exposure to data modeling and database design concepts.

• Interpersonal Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A curious and relentless approach to problem-solving.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Databricks, StreamSets, and Airflow for data pipeline orchestration and management.
• Experience or exposure to deploying machine learning models into production environments.
