Responsibilities:

Position Overview

As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of robust data architectures and cloud solutions that meet our business needs. Your expertise in Snowflake, Oracle, RDBMS, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure will be crucial. You will also play a key role in influencing and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures using Snowflake, Oracle, and other RDBMS technologies. Develop comprehensive data models and solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
• ETL/ELT Processes: Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and loading. Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Cloud Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure. Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises systems and data sources.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams. Review and approve technical designs, code, and implementations to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Influence and Communication: Act as a key influencer in architectural decisions and strategy. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. Facilitate discussions, presentations, and workshops to drive alignment and consensus.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, define objectives, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Best Practices and Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Advocate for and implement best practices in data architecture, cloud solutions, and data management.
• Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, data models, and integration diagrams. Create regular reports on project progress and technical issues.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Expertise in Snowflake, Oracle, and RDBMS technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred skill sets:

• Experience in developing and maintaining architectural documentation
