Fin Solutions Lead Analyst (Financial Models) - C13 - HEREDIA

The Fin Solutions Lead Analyst is senior professional position responsible for managing and optimizing various processes using tools as excel and other software applications. The overall objective is to enhance team efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives. The position has responsibility for the Model Performance Dashboard and CCAR/QMMF processes being compliant with current regulations, supported by documentation standards and with effective preventive and detective controls. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Business

Responsibilities:

• Active team member as part of the cross functional Treasury Technology Compliance Team. Participate specifically in facilitating the execution of the Model Performance Dashboard process.
• Ensuring high level of quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all assigned deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.
• Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls (MCA, ARA, EUC, PCT, WAD, COB etc.), and executing strategic plans
• Instill operational discipline into existing team processes
• Effective communication: cross-functional collaboration, presentations to Senior Management, issue resolution with Technology.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills required
• Advanced Tableau Skills
• Excellent analytical background and skill set to understand Regulatory Reporting guidelines, processes, including system data flows
• Able to work with large volumes of data from different sources
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Ability to multi-task, be proactive and goal oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple teams/functions
• Basic knowledge of statistics
• Experience working with Models preferred
• Advanced English

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
