Responsibilities:

• Identify the issues with the responsible colleagues from the different business areas where Data Science can bring real financial added value
• Work with various data (cash receipt data, Supply-chain-data, customer data, etc.) and modern ML-algorithms to optimize business processes
• Ability to take the responsibility for an interdisciplinary project team and reach the Proof-of-Concept of Analytical Products
• Participation in the implementation of pilot projects, together with the relevant team in demonstrating the functionality of the models in practice
• Regular reporting and presentation of results to all stakeholders with the IT department

Profile:

• Completed Bachelor/ Master degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Physics or other relevant specialty
• Very good knowledge in the introduction of Machine-Learning-methods, optimization methods, Data-mining methods in Python, as well as previous experience with SQL
• Excellent command of English - written and spoken
• Previous working experience as Data Scientist or Data Analyst at least 2 years
• Ability to understand complex case studies, analyze them in detail and present the data obtained appropriately to a non-technical audience
