Lead Solution Architect - (2400034Q)

Description

 The Lead Solution Architect directs the development of advanced data solutions and relational databases, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. This role involves selecting optimal technology stacks, designing lakehouse architectures, and managing data acquisition, access, archiving, and recovery strategies. The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for creating and overseeing complex data models, structures, and nomenclature. They evaluate and integrate new data sources while maintaining stringent quality standards. Additionally, the Lead Solution Architect excels in visualizing comprehensive data solutions, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable insights. This position includes leading architectural initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and mentoring other architects.  

Qualifications

 

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/statistical or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). (Required)
  • Master's Degree Masters preferred. (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

  • Requires deep functional knowledge with 10 years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL and ELT); Microsoft SQL Servers; Oracle Database Management System (DBMS); Python; Unix Operating System
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience with Azure, Snowflake, PowerDesigner, Azure Technologies,
  • Python Data Catalog, Metadata, Lineage tools and usage
  • Experience with database skills, SQL, NoSQL, coding for ETL.
  • Streaming data ingest tools and platforms
  • SSIS
  • Advanced knowledge of product management.
  • Experience working with global distributed multicultural teams.
  • Experience with agile leadership.

Functional Accountabilities

  • Leads solution design by understanding the opportunities and designs the best way to address them
  • Assists in determining the best tool to solve each request
  • Maintains expertise in understanding most solutions available to choose the right one in every situation.
  • Leads the enterprise information standards, guidelines, and principles
  • Subject matter expertise regarding solutions information architecture
  • Leads and enforces the data architecture standards, working with Business, Application, and Operations counterparts to assure data integrity and consistency
  • Leads and maintains documentation that maps data models to information systems and business applications
  • Cultivates a group of architects to validate and fix information management issues related to data quality framework (completeness, accuracy, availability, timeliness, consistency, etc.)
  • Manages data dictionary to improve documentation and coordination
  • Leads the building of enterprise architecture information blueprints and data models that illustrate how information is stored, processed, and accessed in the enterprise Leads data architecture, data sourcing, data flow, and solution discussions for data initiatives
  • Leads the enterprise information architecture discussions around needs and alignment to enterprise goals
  • Collaborates on data-related business requirements and perform data architecture reviews
  • Perform other duties as assigned
