Position Summary

Purpose Financial is looking for a Sr. Product Analyst to join our Product team to help analyze our B Loan product performance, identify areas for improvement, design A/B testing strategies, and facilitate product portfolio optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of subprime/near prime consumer lending, B Loans, customer behavior, data analytics, data modeling, and the ability to train, mentor, and assist the Sr. Manager of Product (P&L Management) with the development of junior level Product Analysts.

Job Responsibility

• Develop and monitor product metrics/KPIs, and report on performance to leadership
• Develop and test models to help optimize product structure
• Lead the analysis of product performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product strategies that align with business goals
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
• Help develop and maintain product roadmaps, requirements, and specifications
• Communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders across the organization
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop and launch new products and features.
• Help develop A/B testing strategies for new product enhancements and designs
• Produce ad hoc reporting, analysis, and other data models skillfully as needed.
• Train, mentor, and assist the Sr. Manager of Product (P&L Management) with the development of junior level Product Analysts

Job Responsibilities Cont.

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. (Advanced Degree preferred.)

Experience Required

3+ years of experience in product analysis, specifically focused on "B loans."

Knowledge Required

Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment.  Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.

• Exposure to reporting tools such as Tableau, Sigma
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL and SQL applications (Snowflake)
• Python, R, or other statistical programming tool language experience required.
• Ability to combine data from multiple sources to analyze and interpret business performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills as would be needed to communicate in person, by phone, and through email.
• Adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products. Ability to quickly learn all technology needed to perform the role.
