About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other quantitative majors, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 14+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
Strong expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Proficiency in various machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, etc.) and their implementation.
Understanding of NLP techniques for text analysis, sentiment analysis, and language generation.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

It would be great, if you also have,
Skills in data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing to prepare data for analysis.
Ability to design and implement data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
What will you be doing in this role?
Technical leadership:
Leading the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions, including machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
Guiding the development and refinement of predictive models to drive business insights.
Selecting appropriate algorithms and techniques to address specific business problems
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborating closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation.
Fostering a data-driven culture within the organisation, encouraging data-informed decision-making.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Communicating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
AI ML Ethics:
Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Promoting ethical and responsible use of AI and machine learning.
Identifying and mitigating bias in data and algorithms.
About the Team
You would be part of our incredible data science team of Intellectual property (IP) group & work closely with product and technology teams spreads across various locations worldwide.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent position with Clarivate.9 hours per day including lunch break. you should be flexible with working hours to align with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
