POSITION DESCRIPTIONOur flagship product, Sayari Graph, provides instant access to structured business information from hundreds of millions of corporate, legal, and trade records. As a member of Sayari's Forward Deployed Data Team, you will work directly with our customers to ensure they are set up for success in utilizing Sayari’s products to their utmost potential.  This unique and critical Sayari role acts as a key technical advisor to our clients, providing on-demand support of our technologies within their environments.  In this role, you will be working intimately with our customers in vetting presales & post-sales opportunities from a technical perspective.  You are the glue that connects our top Sayari users to how we can best support them with our solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with customers to help them ETL their data into a format which is usable by Sayari’s on premise offering
• Driving discovery engagements with customers during pre-sales to help them design solutions focused around Sayari’s product offerings for Entity Resolution and bulk data
• Working with customers post-sale to ensure that they are getting value from Sayari’s bulk data product
• Uncovering any potential technological needs with customers after they have been fully set up with Sayari’s solutions
• Managing the process of producing customized bulk data products for customers and bulk data samples for prospective customers

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with SQL (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra, ElasticSearch, etc.) databases  
• 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines 
• Professional experience with Python and a JVM language (e.g., Scala)
• Experience and comfortability working directly with clients or internal stakeholders - this is a customer-facing position! 
• Experience working on a cloud platform like GCP or AWS (GCP preferred)
• Experience working collaboratively with git 
• Ability to travel up to 10% per year

Desired Skills & Experience

• Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes 
• Understanding of, or interest in, Knowledge Graphs
• Experienced in supporting and working with internal teams and customers in a dynamic environment 
• Passionate about open source development and innovative technology 
• Experience using Apache Spark
