The COO Division is a key enabler for DWS and is integral to the future success of the company by delivering world-class services across a set of key functions. Within the COO Division Data Management is responsible for designing and driving the execution of the data strategy at Group and Divisional/functional level as well as coordinating adherence to Data related processes and policies and any applicable local regulations.

Your key responsibilities
As a Data Quality (DQ) Management Specialist, you will
- Supporting the development of Python based technology platform, serving the DWS operations function and supporting the current legacy platform and processes.
- Improving and developing Python/Excel based end user applications.
- Implement the DQ profiling within the DQ tooling in with DQ framework.
- Responsible for day to day operating of DQ tooling, monitor and evaluate DQ Metrics
- Build applications to align with DWS Data Quality Strategy, ensuring adequate data quality controls so that data can effectively support business processes.
- Applying technical analytics to facilitate Data Quality Management including data lineage and managing integration with data quality applications and process engineering (including automation)
- Working collaboratively with teams across Data Quality Management and Data Governance to provide data-driven solutions to support data processing is in line with DWS’s Data Management framework
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions to improve existing process flows and systems
- Assess and prioritize feature requests, test and debug programs
- Applying problem solving skills to improve Data Quality Management including process engineering (including automation)
- Assess and prioritize feature requests, testing and debugging programs in line with Data Quality Management frameworks
- Utilising advanced data analysis skills to analyse, profile, and shape data to to improve Data Quality Management including process engineering (including automation)
Your skills and experience
- Excellent Python programming skills with experience of creating enterprise applications.
- Excellent analytical skills utilising tools such as SQL/MATLAB/Visual Basic with experience of dealing with large volumes of data
- Demonstrable experience in applying technical analysis to support Data Quality Management concepts
- Extensive technical expertise of managing data (and processes) in a global enterprise environment with an understanding of database and schema design
- Strong working knowledge of industry best practice associated to data quality such as DAMA, DCAM
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop creative and structured solutions
- Degree educated in a technical related discipline such as finance, computer science or engineering.
