[What the role is]

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, DATA GOVERNANCE

[What you will be working on]

You will be involved in:
•Reviewing and enhancing the LTA’s data governance policy and processes to ensure effective management of data security, privacy and quality.
•Strengthen discoverability and understanding of data, and drive secure data-sharing within LTA, across WOG and other organisations. Work with business units to drive data exploitation and enable data-driven decision-making within LTA and WOG.
•Oversee service level agreements with relevant parties to obtain necessary data for timely derivation and provision of datasets. Ensuring datasets meet the standards and requirements set out in the service level agreements established.
•Plan and coordinate reviews and compliance activities (including internal/external audits covering third-party management and vulnerability assessment) to ensure alignment of LTA’s ICT systems and compliance to government’s policies and other statutory requirements.
•Support in the development of LTA’s digitalisation strategies and transformation plans to align to the whole-of-government objectives and new initiatives. Work closely with internal project teams and liaise with other government agencies/ministries on digitalisation and cybersecurity matters.
•Work with relevant stakeholders to build capabilities in managing and exploiting data safely, efficiently and effectively.
•Supporting incident response swiftly and effectively for data related incidents


[What we are looking for]

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering discipline, with at least 2 years working experience.
•Good understanding of LTA’s vision, strategic directions and business objectives.
•Ability to engage and persuade stakeholders from different groups on data management related matters.
•Experience in conducting audits and vulnerability assessment for ICT systems.
•Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills to communicate complex data quality issues in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
•Good interpersonal, communications, persuasion and presentation skills.
•High drive and self-motivated. Ability to think out of the box and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
