Key Responsibilities

1. Data Integration & ETL Monitoring

• Manage and monitor data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SAP BW, ensuring data availability and reliability.
• Log and resolve incidents in ServiceNow, maintaining records to safeguard data integrity.

2. Data Modeling & Warehousing

• Develop optimized data models in Azure SQL Data Warehouse, implementing dimensional modeling practices for robust reporting.
• Organize data into star and snowflake schemas for accessibility and efficient analytics.

3. Power BI Reporting & Visualization

• Design and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX calculations, delivering interactive insights.
• Lead migration projects to Power BI, enhancing functionality and user experience.

4. Data Governance & Quality Assurance

• Enforce data governance principles, ensuring compliance, security, and quality in Azure and SAP environments.
• Utilize Jira for data validation checks and corrective actions within ETL processes.

5. PMO Collaboration

• Organize team meetings, set agendas, assign tasks, and monitor project progress using Jira.
• Oversee resource allocation, timesheet tracking, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

6. Service Management & Issue Resolution

• Handle service requests and incident resolutions via ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and prioritize issues for efficient service delivery.

7. Continuous Improvement & Optimization

• Identify and implement optimizations to enhance workflows and system performance.
• Stay updated on advancements in data engineering, Azure, and service management tools like Jira and ServiceNow.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency

• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Advanced skills in Power BI with a focus on DAX.
• Experience with SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, and related SAP tools.

Data Engineering Skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and dimensional modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in managing ETL processes and ensuring high data quality.

Data Governance & Security

• In-depth understanding of data governance, security standards, and validation practices.

Project Management & Collaboration

• Skilled in Jira for project tracking and ServiceNow for service management.
• Experienced in managing PMO tasks, including scheduling and resource allocation.

Problem-Solving & Learning

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of industry practices.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in French or Dutch, with good proficiency in the other language.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
